bluebeadsandbones: chicagozinefest: The third annual Chicago Zine Fest will take place on March 9th & 10th, 2012! Here’s a peek at this year’s awesome art, done by local artist Lilli Carre. Table registration opens on December 15th at the Chicago Zine Fest’s main website, and there are a few changes this year! In the interests of allowing as many zinesters as possible to table, the main registration form will be for half tables only. If you are a distro or otherwise need a full table, you can still register for one, but there will not be many available and we ask that you only do this if you really need the space! We also ask that you only try to cram one or two zinesters behind each half table. Prices this year are $10 for a half table and $20 for a full. Feel free to let us know if there’s someone you’d like to table next to, and we will do our best to accomodate you! Zine fests can be super frustrating and after the last two CZFs, I basically promised myself I wouldn’t return, but I know I’ll be super sad if I miss out on seeing so many friends. (PS Killer Lilli Carre poster! I finally read The Lagoon a few weeks ago and loved it.) You know I would totally split the cost of your plane ticket if you needed some help! I don’t have the patience and good will to go to ANY zine fest without you by my side!

Should I try to save up the $230 to fly there this year? I’m broke as a joke and am the worst at saving money, though. Zine fests can be super frustrating and after the last two CZFs, I basically promised myself I wouldn’t return, but I know I’ll be super sad if I miss out on seeing so many friends.
