dykings asked: if you could live anywhere else in the United States, where would you live?

Questions like this are so hard for me to answer! As much as I gripe about living in Cleveland, it’s so hard for me to imagine living anywhere else. My whole family has lived here forever. It’s like I’ve lived here since before I was born. (It doesn’t help that I’ve had super limited opportunities to travel & experience other cities.)

That said, I always have a great time visiting aprilmarches in Portland and am enticed by the prospect of lots of food trucks and mild winters. I would follow bluebeadsandbones to any old city, so even though I’ve only experienced San Francisco via Full House, I would totally move there to be close to her & veryemergency and their cats. Visiting yoursecretary in Chicago always improves my life significantly — I’d love to live somewhere with great public transit, a strong independent publishing community, & good book/comic stores, so I would definitely be open to moving there…

But what I really want is for all of these people to move to Cleveland! Obviously.
