The Best and Most Inspiring example of Taco Bell as a feminist act is CLEARLY bluebeadsandbones HURLING a Baja Blast into some Ohio State Bro Dude’s face when we hit up Taco Bell post-Weezer cover band show. It was the most feminist night of my life and was documented in my LiveJournal as follows:

Last night was beer sloshed all over me and feet sticking to the floor and sweat. So much sweat. Last night was Indian food and blueberry crumb cake and pomegranate green tea and Taco Bell at 2 in the morning. Last night was some dude whispering “fag” under his breath and Brittany: “What? You don’t like fags?” Last night was a large cup of Baja Blast thrown into some dude’s face. Last night was, “Dude, you just blasted him!” Last night is what Evan just referred to as “The Brittany [last name redacted] Baja Blast of Justice,” as he walked out the door on the way to work.

I’ve recently thought about how I could write a zine entirely based on the bizarre things that have happened to me at Taco Bell… I don’t like to toot my own horn, but the above incident was one of the happiest nights of my life (awful Weezer cover band included).

While I was loosening my cup lid to walk up to said dudebro, Alana asked him if he was serious about calling our friend a fag. “Only as serious as your glasses!” he shot back. When re-telling this story, Alana always pauses here to explain, incredulously, that “Like, ‘ridiculous glasses’ is one of my livejournal interests!” Sticks and stones can break my bones, but making fun of my livejournal interests will never hurt me.
